A couple local events to check out

Two local churches with strong ties to the camp are hosting events worth checking out this weekend into next week.

Dobbins UMC in Delanco, a church that has ties to the camp starting in 1898, is hosting a series of events as part of the Boundless Salvation campaign Oct. 29- Nov. 6.

Monday, Nov. 1 (7 p.m.): Boundless Grace: Growing in God’s Spirit. Speaker: The Rev. Jeanne Pearson.
Tuesday, Nov. 2 (7 p.m.): Boundless Wisdom: Knwong God’s Word. Speaker: The Rev. Jerry Ruff.
Wednesday, Nov. 3 (6 pm): UthNITE: Youth (Grades 6-12) Pizza Party and Skateboarding Outreach. Guests: Ministry Team from Solid Foundation Skatepark.
Wednesday, Nov. 3 (7 pm): Boundless Love: Sharing Christ with Others. Speaker: The Rev. Dan Sooy.
Thursday, Nov. 4 (7pm): Boundless Power: Praying Effectively. Speaker: Mrs. Stephanie Hogan.
Friday, Nov. 5 (7pm): Boundless Adventure: Reaching the World for Christ. Speaker: The Rev. Colleen Fitch.
Saturday, Nov. 6 (7pm): Boundless Worship: Enjoying God Forever. Worship Leader: Mr. Nick Djakow.

Sicklerville UMC will be hosting revival services with Rev. Paul Blair, a past Camp Meeting speaker and president of the Francis Asbury Society, from Oct. 31-Nov. 2.

Service times will be Sunday morning (10/31) 8:15, 10 and 11:15 a.m.; Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. in our sanctuary. Nursery, for children less than 36 months, will also be provided.

The Children’s Revival Program will present “Heroes….Living 4 God” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. each evening. Children 3 years old to 6th grade are invited to attend this “high flying” program that will get the children excited about prayer, the Bible, and discovering the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

Children are encouraged to come dressed as a Bible HERO each evening.
