Annual Stockholder Meeting Oct. 1

When I think of the term stockholder as it relates to Delanco Camp and its parent organization the Delanco Camp Meeting Association, the word sacrifice comes to mind. For 113 years, the organization has existed because a group of dedicated individuals have invested in the camp with their time, talents and gifts. Delanco Camp exists today in the community of Tabernacle because of a dedicated group of stockholders who after spending a great deal of time in prayer pooled their resources to purchase the property we now call home.

On Saturday, Oct. 1, the stockholders will hold their annual meeting in which the leadership of the organization is selected and vision is cast for the future. If you are a stockholder, please plan to attend. It’s at 1 p.m. in the Dining Hall. If you are interested in playing a role in securing the camp for future generations as a stockholder, HERE is the application.

How are you doing? How are your parents and where are they living? Are you actively involved in the operation of the camp? Give me a call at my office number of (6090497-9510 when you have a chance to say “hello?”
