In case you haven’t already heard the news, the junk shop is going down this Saturday (March 29). Thee ole junk shop is a camp eyesore so this day has been a long time coming, but I can’t help but wax a little nostalgic thinking about the building going down.
A couple years ago, Tina Crossley made light fun of the junk shop (and the Ralph family) in one of her evening “Tina’s Travels” segments. We just happen to have a link to the pre-YouTube (as in 2005) video here.
Do you have any junk shop memories? Post them in the comments section.
And if you are free Saturday, head out to the camp at 9 a.m. to help clean up not only the junk shop, but the rest of the grounds. There’s plenty to be done to get the grounds ready for the upcoming retreats, Delanco Day and the summer season.
